I joined medical school in 1992 at T D Medical college, Alleppey and finished my undergraduate training in 1997. In 1998, I joined AIIMS, New Delhi as a Non academic Junior resident and worked in Blood Bank and Emergency Mediciine. Following which, I started my Postgraduation in 1999 in Pediatrics at GMC, Patiala and finished in 2002. My interest in Neurology developed during my Senior residency at Kalawati saran children Hopsital at Delhi and then I moved on to CMC vellore to work as Non DM Senior Resident. I joined my Neurology training in 2006 at SCTIMST, Triavandrum and did Fellowship In Epilepsy in 2009 from the same institute. In the year 2010, joined Fortis Hospital, Noida as consultant in Neurology and have developed the department of Neurology to next level in terms of Epilepsy Surgery programme including long term epilepsy monitoring and acute stroke care including IV thrombolysis and stroke ICU.

Dr. Navdeep Kumar completed DNB in Neurology from Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) in 2011. During DNB he did research on”Stroke in Young Patients”. He gathered a vast experience of overall Neurology with special reference to Neuromuscular disorders, Neuropathies and Acute Neurology under the able guidance of the Esteemed faculty at IHBAS. Dr.Sonia Lal Gupta and her husband Dr.Sameer Gupta, also host a weekly health segment, “Doctors on Call” aired on NDTV 24x7 and NDTV India. In this segment, they discuss common health issues, latest research and advances in healthcare with a goal to help spread health awareness in the country. She works currently at MP Heart Clinic in GK1 and Metro Hospitals in Noida.
