She has served as a reputed member in various ethical committees like SGPGI, UPCST, CSIR CDRI and is a life member of several national scientific organisations. Dr Vinita Das completed her graduation and postgraduation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Medical College Lucknow. She has been honoured with the “Hewett Gold Medal” while she was pursuing MBBS along with other silver and gold medals. In the span of over four decades, she has been awarded various national awards including the Bharat Gaurav Award, Bhartiya Nari Samman, Kirti Sri Samman, DIPSI National Award for GDM National Guidelines, Lord of Planet Award, Legend of FOGSI Excellence award. Dr Das has contributed to medical research by offering her insights to more than 150 publications in national and international scientific journals. She is also credited with more than 80 national & international research projects as PI and Co-PI. She has also received a variety of fellowships at a national and international level.
