Till date, I have (6 years) experience on more than 600 Kidney transplants, including Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy in more than 400 cases. I manage perioperative ICU care, immunosupression protocol and post operative follow up actively by myself. Therefore, the result of kidney transplant (225 Transplants in about 2&1/2 years) exclusively under my supervision has been excellent (No mortality related to surgery, 1 year patient & graft survival &gt;96%) -- comparable to the best centers across the globe. I am credited for the first ever ABO-incompatible (blood group mismatched) kidney transplant in the northern India, and have successfully performed 4 such cases in Max Hospital, Mohali. Two rare and complex cases of HIV positive patients, following successful kidney transplant by me, are leading comfortable life over past 10 months – these are 2nd and 3rd Indian nationals as per available report and are among the very few cases done so far in our country. I have vast experience in treating all sorts of allograft rejections -- successfully treated 5 cases of Antibody Mediated Rejection -- all the patients doing well on follow up till date. For Dialysis access in CRF patients, I have performed &gt; 1000 AV fistulas - including vascular grafts, &gt;100 CAPD Catheter insertion and 25 Perm-Cath insertions. My excellent academic carrier is reflected by 20 publications in international & indexed national journals, 1 book chapter, and 20 papers presented in national and international conferences.

Dr Raghavender. Kosgi is a consultant Microsurgical Andrologist, Urologist and Sexual Dysfunction Specialist. He is one of the few urologists to practice exclusive Andrology and Men’s health in India. He completed his MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. He was awarded “Best Outgoing Student Award” by Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. Then he went to Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad for MS General Surgery. While in SMC, Vijayawada, he was the secretary for Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors Association (APJUDA) and during post-graduation in Gandhi Medical College, he was the President of Andhra Pradesh Junior doctors Association which showcased his communication and leadership skills. He is the one of the few Andrologists from India, who completed his microsurgical training in Weill Cornell Medical Centre, Cornell University, New York, USA by Dr Philip S Li, under supervision of Dr Marc Goldstein, an internationally renowned male infertility specialist for his pioneering work in vasectomy reversals and microsurgical varicocelectomy. He is trained in micro-TESE by Dr Peter Schlegel, who is the founder and master in that procedure at Cornell University, New York. Then he moved to the University of Miami, Florida, for further training in Andrology by Ranjith Ramasamy, who is a dynamic Andrologist in Florida state. He was very lucky to observe Dr Francois Eid, world-renowned penile implant surgeon, well known for his “no touch technique” of prosthetic surgery in New York. He is one of the few Indian doctors to get trained at world premier male reproductive centres in the USA, where he worked with pioneers in the field of male infertility and erectile dysfunction.
