Dr Gauri Patil is an expert in non-surgical aesthetic medicine who has graduated from the prestigious Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and holds a Diploma in Skin and Venerology (DDVL) FMMC. She got acquainted with basic cosmetic procedures such as peeling and lasers during her post graduate life itself. Post DDVL, she worked as a Senior resident in Department of Dermatology, Lokmanya tilak hospital, Sion, Mumbai, where she evolved as a dermatologist by coming across diversity of cases & handling crisis situation in a calm and patient manner. She learnt the fine aspects of trichology under able guidance of renowned trichologist, Dr. Rachita Dhurat including insight into procedures such as PRP. Later, she was appointed as the Consultant Dermatologist in Cosmetic Surgery Institute, Santacruz west, Mumbai. She was among few to be trained in operational usage of ULTHERA, World's only FDA approved Ultrasound based method of Skin tightening (Reduce Signs of Ageing). Her real introduction to the world of Aesthetics was at Skin Secrets where she joined as an associate dermatologist to Dr. Malavika Kohli, a renowned Aesthetic dermatologist in Mumbai. Joining her large team of 10 dermatologists brought her not only experience in aesthetics but enrooted hardcore dermatology into routine practice. She is well trained and experienced in 1. Routine dermatological procedures, e.g. Skin biopsy, Phototherapy, Cryotherapy, Electrocautery, Radiocautery, Patch test, Prick test, PRP and microneedling for hair loss, intralesional steroid injection for alopecia areata. 2. Dermato-surgical procedures e.g. Punch grafting, Dermabrasion, Subcision for scar treatment. 3. Cosmetic Dermatological procedures,e.g. Dermaroller for acne scars, Chemical peeling, Q switched Nd : YAG Laser for pigmentation, Erbium YAG laser for scar treatment, Radio Frequency for skin tightening and face rejuvenation, Nd : YAG Laser & IPL for hair removal. Her training in Trichology and Aesthetic Dermatology under some of the finest Trichologists and Aesthetic Dermatologists in the country has been the foundation for her unique knowledge, skills, and abilities. Her drive to provide the best solutions to patients has motivated to keep herself updated through various conferences and seminars.
