Dr. Srinivas Prasad is a well known cancer surgeon, with more than 10 years of experience. He completed training from the internationally-acclaimed Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA), at Chennai as a topper of his batch. In 2007 he was awarded the very prestigious Prof. Snehalatha Endowment Gold Medal in recognition of his best performance in the branch of Oncology (MCh) at the Tamilnadu Medical University. He has presented papers in international cancer congress at Washington in 2006. He formerly served as Faculty at MNJ Institute of Oncology, Hyderabad which is a Regional Cancer Centre for the state. He also served at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore & at CMC, Vellore. Many post graduate surgeons from various specialties have polished their skills while training under him and they vouch for his academic caliber and meticulous technique. He is a dependable and well known trouble shooter for many surgeons encountering difficulties in the operations. Throughout his career, he has regularly conducted cancer detection camps and surgeries for the under privileged in association with various NGO s.
