• I am a practicing Homoeopath for the past 15 years. • Practicing at ‘Lok Kalyan Samiti’, Gurgaon, a NGO run Hospital as a Psychological Counsellor. • Practicing at ‘Asha Niwas’, Gurgaon, a NGO as a Psychological Counsellor . • Practicing at own clinic out of my residence. • As a ‘General Physician’, my areas of specialization have been illnesses related to Anorectal, Skin, Pediatrics, and Gynecology. • As a counselor I help my patient to maximize their strengths and personal resources and allow them to set and achieve goals in virtually any aspect of their life. • Contributed articles on ‘Myths about Homeopathy’ in Lok Kalyan Publications. • Recently held workshops on topic of STRESS MANAGEMENT, KIDS TOO HAVE STRESS at Arya Samaj Auditorium Dlf, Gurgaon. Another workshop for teenage students on the topic how to increase confidence level and how to increase their concentration level were conducted. • Recently started with smiley’s kids club at my residence cum clinic with the aim of giving a stress free environment to the children from age group 5 yrs to 12 yrs. It involves various activities based on the therapies like art therapy , clay therapy,cognitive behavior therapy and many others which help the children to improve their skills and increase the powers of concentration,imagination,confidence,intelligence and emotional expressions. * Special interest in Health Coaching/Nutritional Coaching /supportive counseling and Behavioral Medicine . In my practice, I treat the entire patient: mind, emotions, body and spirit. I am fully aware that every person is unique, the product of diverse life experiences. Every patient is treated as an individual and my protocols reflect individual uniqueness. As a counsellor , I have expertise working with children, adolescents and adults as well as couples and families. I can help with a wide range of mental health problems that cause emotional, behavioral and interpersonal difficulties. In obese and stressed patient with binge eating disorder, I give intensive behavioral therapy which consists of screening for obesity in adults (using measurements of body mass index, or BMI); dietary assessment; and behavioral counseling and therapy to promote sustained weight loss through high intensity interventions concerning diet , exercise and a series of lifestyle changes (Sleep pattern, walk , eating intervals).
