Dr. Sameer R Rao is a Consultant Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Nagpur University, M.Ch in CTVS from Christian Medical College, Vellore, and he also holds a Fellowship from St. Vincents Hospital, Sydney. With a wide spectrum of surgical experience spanning over a career of more than two decades, Dr. Rao specializes in neonatal cardiac surgery, valve repairs, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, adult and paediatric cardiac surgery, and general thoracic surgery. Using his diverse experience, he treats conditions like coronary artery diseases, rheumatic heart diseases, degenerative valvular diseases, congenital heart diseases, heart failure treatment, thoracic procedures, aortic diseases, and peripheral vascular diseases.
